Ipekyolu Guest House in Mardin was aimed to be a local model which encourages women entrepreneurs in the field of tourism. 43 women received training in tourism before launching the guesthouse and cafeteria of İpekyolu Guest House. Employment opportunities were provided for women in two guesthouses with 22 beds that offer accommodation and catering services. The Guesthouse, which was built within the scope of the project, received special awards from www.booking.com and has become a local model encouraging women entrepreneurs working for tourism sector.
