Akyaka: The Akyaka route, which is 5 km long, starts on the shore of Kadın Azmağı and continues at
Akyaka Forest Camp through the harbour and beach. This part of the route contains numerous
cultural and natural beauties. The route follows Akyaka Forest Camp, which hosts many bird, plant,
and tree species, and continues on Menekşe Street, one of the most beautiful streets of Akyaka
center. This street introduces beautiful and unique architectural examples of Akyaka, also reserves
the Nail Çakırhan and Halet Çamlıbel Culture and Art House.
Taşlıca: Taşlıca Village, located 45 kilometers from Marmaris district of Muğla, is remarkable with- its
natural, cultural and historical richness, as well as its hallmark traditional agricultural production
practices and gastronomy. As part of Future in Tourism’s efforts in Muğla, it is aimed to create an
alternative tourism route in Taşlıca focusing on culture and gastronomy. The route, which is
approximately 3 km long, starts from the center of Taşlıca, where traditional village houses are
located and passes among ancient water wells, the Phoenix Ancient City research center and
excavation area, traditional agricultural terraces, local black wheat fields, fig, and almond trees.
Köyceğiz: Future is in Tourism has been supporting Köyceğiz’s hidden rich diversity of medicinal and
aromatic plants as a sustainable tourism product since 2020. In this context, it was aimed to add a
new route in Köyceğiz. Köyceğiz offers visitors an experience-based tourism option with its trekking
route created in sweetgum (Liquidambar orientalis) forest endemic to Köyceğiz, the opportunity to
canoeing on the lake, and ateliers such as soap, candle and aromatic oil production held at the
Köyceğiz Aromatic Plants House.
